Summary: Bought this for my mom, who has a 30 pin connector on her ipad, and the lightning port on her iPhone. Bought a 30pin-Lightning adapter for the phone, and both of these sit securely on the stand. Playback is easily started, and sound quality is very good for a device this size. Remote is very user friendly and functions well. Clock face is bright and easy to read.
Summary: This replaced a gift for my 10 yr old son. We bought him an iHome ipod dock/alarm clock and we were unsatisfied with the sound quality or ease of use. This is a great dock/alarm clock and a great value. It offers great sound and the clock is easy to read any time of the day. We keep it on top of a dresser very close to a wall in the center of his square room. I think this placement offers the fullest sound.
Summary: I really like the Philips DC390 clock/radio. It was very easy to set up and has been working great. I use the docking system to charge my Iphone 5 but I do not like to use it to charge my Ipad. The Ipad is just too tall and I am afraid it would fall over or the docking part would bread in the ipad if it fall over.
Summary: Great sound! Loved using iPad docking station in back but kid must have pulled off without lifting iPad up first and now it is broken. Delicate docking station for big iPad. iPhone docker in front still works though. Only had it three months.
Summary: this takes a little getting use to but once you master the controls it is very handy. especially if you use more than one apple product often. It might be over kill if you only had one apple product or if you only needed to charge one at a time. I have the lightening connector on my Ipad so I had to get an adapter but it still works great. Must be the small adapter. I have not really used the remote yet but it is a nice addition.
Summary: The sound on this unit is amazing! Radio is more receptive then 2 other units I have in the house. Highly recommended. I used this unit to listen to my music/videos from my Ipad, Iphone, and Ipod.
Summary: I bought this product as my Ihome had died thinking the two docks would be great...... If you have any sort of case on you phone or Ipad (i have otterboxes) the docks will not work. The alarm clock function as detailed as you can make it, is the most pain staking process and more often then not you will end up screwing it up somehow with the alarm failing to go off in the morning Over all it has a great design but the functionality is absolutely horrible.
Summary: Use this in the kitchen and it provides great sound. Have also used it in the backyard for a party and could play Pandora on my iPhone. We use if for iPhone 5 (with separate adapter); iPhone 4s; and iPad. Don't have to take off the covers to connect.
Summary: I wanted a dock for my new iPhone 4S and ipad2. I listen to podcasts and Pandora radio on my iphone. I use Apple TV to project my ipad to my tv. This product allows me to do this easier and lets me charge at the same time. I compared this product with some in store that only docked the iPhone. Only drawback is that I have to take off the jacket of my ipad to dock it and the ipad is a bit more difficult to plug in than the iPhone due to the angle design of the plug.
Summary: Our needs were specific...a clock radio that charged an iPhone 4S, and an iPad, was decently made, provided decent sound, and looked good doing it. My only complaint about this purchase is it is quite difficult to set up and the controls are not intuitive. The first morning we got up to blaring static noise, the next morning nothing...no music, no static, nothing. Finally left our gadget loving son program the thing and it works fine now.
