Summary: I had high hopes for the RC-DC1 but was immediately frustrated by the controls which are confusing, small, poorly labeled, and oddly placed. Figured that I could get used to the idiosyncrasies until I put it on my nightstand and turned off the room light. Even at its lowest setting, the clock readout is _much_ too bright. That was the deal-breaker for me, and the unit is on its way back to J&R as I write this. Too bad... I expected more from Panasonic.
Pros: Compact, Good Sound, Modest Cost
Cons: Complicated Controls, Too bright for a bedside
Summary: I bought this clock for my husband. He really likes the sleek look of this item along with the GREAT sound. The radio stations come in perfect also! He loves that he can play his IPOD on this device and enjoys the nap function... Great product!
Summary: I love this thing! Works really well with my iPhone 4s and has a really good app that comes with it to program everything. The 3-level dimmer works great and I find the lowest setting is just right given the some previous reviews of it being too bright. My iPhone is in an Otterbox, and it still works well since the cradle is larger to accomodate it. Would highly recommend the product. Oh yeah, amazing sound quality from a small unit like this!
Summary: Had an LG one before, but it was very buggy, would decide whether it wanted to switch on when connecting an ipod... replaced with one of these Panasonic radios. It works flawlessy, the display is dimmable, and it looks stylish. It was a touch on the expensive side, but worth getting. Very happy.
Summary: It took my a little while to figure out how all the features work, but not that I have, I am quite pleased with it. It sounds good and does everything I need a little clock radio with an iPhone charger to do.
