Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox Portable Review
26 December 2013
Excerpt: The Beatbox Portable is the latest addition to the Beats by Dr. Dre speaker line-up. Can you believe that the original Beatbox was released back in 2010? Damn… ...
Pros: Neat design, rich sound quality, not too bass heavy, pairs easily via Bluetooth, bluetooth streaming quality is excellent, smaller footprint, carry handles and lightweight design makes it easy to carry, really shines on higher bit rates.
Cons: Remote is a bit cheap looking, no batteries included, placement is key to fill the room with sound, collects dirt and fingerprints easily, price is a bit high – but you know you want it any way.
Excerpt: Having done a fine job with its iPod-friendly headphones, it was only matter of time before Beats by Dr. Dre added a speaker dock to its arsenal. The 200W Beatbox is a beefy system with serious desktop presence. The top has a smooth matt-black finish and features a dock on the left-hand side and control dial on the right.
