logitech ipod station
1 February 2010
Summary: The product for the cost is not bad. Sound quality is acceptable and it can be portable with batteries. However, the product was shipped from Hardware Cooling and the remote does not work well. The buttons do not consistently work. I notified them of this issue but they did nothing to rectify my complaint. Otherwise, it is easy to use and operate.
Summary: I bought this for my wife and her 3rd gen iPod touch after reading many other reviews not only here on Amazon but on other sites as well. The sound is good. There are other speaker systems for the iPod that sound much better, but those are more attuned to the audiophiles. I would like to have had the Acoustic Research Tabletop Radio with Docking Station for iPod and MP3 Players system, but the size was too large for our use as well as the cost at this time.
Summary: pretty decent little ipod sound system. the case and remote are just well thought out additions. sound is decent for the size, and the unit didn't run out of juice on batteries even after 5 hours of continuous play.
Excerpt: I think its an ideal unit for a teen or preteen, like I said, but it could also be a very useful and functional device for an adult with an iPod who wants a more traditional docking system design that would be flattering in perhaps a kitchen or home office without having too much sharp edges or details. The price is definitely right on this unit and I think it pleases the pocket as much as the ears!
Summary: The audiostation is great for the price. It is small easy to pack and carry around and requires only 6 AA batteries that last a long time. good for the pool and picknicks. the sound quality is not as crisp or as loud as a boes system.
Summary: I've been searching for awhile for and iPod docking station to use at my outdoor wedding. I've read a lot of reviews and listened to many different speakers at several stores. I was going to buy the Logitech Pure-Fi Express speakers when I stumbled across these speakers for half the price. So far I'm happy with the sound quality and volume. They're not tinny sounding like some of the other cheaper speakers. There's a little bit of bass there, but not too much.
Summary: I purchased this product after reviewing numerous other ipod speakers online. This unit is ideal in that it is fairly compact and easily moved around the house as needed, and has great sound, whether on low or high volume. I have had no problems with the remote or my ipod while using it, but I do recommend pausing your ipod before removing it and/or shutting off the i-home to avoid freezing up your ipod.
Summary: I really like this product; it sounds great, the kids love the remote, and it also comes with a carry case, which is a nice touch. I wish it were a bit more sleek looking, but other than that it's great.
