Logitech Audio Station Express
12 October 2014
Excerpt: The amount of iPod accessories and compatible this, that’s, and the other things out there today since iPods hit the sheleves everywhere, is literally amazing and can easily be overwhelming for the average shopper, especially when gift shopping for iPod extras.
Summary: I bought this dock for my bathroom, since I HAVE to have music while in the shower. Little did I know that this was going to be my best purchase for years!! I moved out of the country and couldn't bring my Bose sound system with me, so I brought my good old Logitech Audiostation with me and it's been the best investment I've done. GREAT SOUND. PORTABLE, and it comes with a remote control!!
Summary: Let's get this straight, not all of us are Audiophiles that need super duper 5.1 or 7.1 or 9.1 surround sound for their TVs. I am using these speakers for an i-symphony 42" LED TV that I got from Amazon. A bunch of people returned this TV because of it's horrible built in speakers. That wasn't an issue for me because this problem can be easily fixed by buying a decent soundbar.
Summary: The product for the cost is not bad. Sound quality is acceptable and it can be portable with batteries. However, the product was shipped from Hardware Cooling and the remote does not work well. The buttons do not consistently work. I notified them of this issue but they did nothing to rectify my complaint. Otherwise, it is easy to use and operate.
Summary: I bought this for my wife and her 3rd gen iPod touch after reading many other reviews not only here on Amazon but on other sites as well. The sound is good. There are other speaker systems for the iPod that sound much better, but those are more attuned to the audiophiles. I would like to have had the Acoustic Research Tabletop Radio with Docking Station for iPod and MP3 Players system, but the size was too large for our use as well as the cost at this time.
Summary: pretty decent little ipod sound system. the case and remote are just well thought out additions. sound is decent for the size, and the unit didn't run out of juice on batteries even after 5 hours of continuous play.
Summary: The audiostation is great for the price. It is small easy to pack and carry around and requires only 6 AA batteries that last a long time. good for the pool and picknicks. the sound quality is not as crisp or as loud as a boes system.
