make sure to check the package for an adapter, you need it!

Summary: in my seller feed back i mentioned that there was an additional item in the shipment. please note it is REQUIRED as this is an international model whose wall wart has a Euro market plug not compatible with NA wall sockets. the device itself sounds great for what it is and set up is fairly intuitive. the (huge) multilingual manual is a bit hard for old eyes to read, but the controls on the device itself are not all that hard to figure out. love the blue glow!
Had it two years -- busted -- iPhone no longer makes contact
23 May 2014
Summary: I bought this a couple years ago. I highly recommend it -- until, from nowhere, the iPhone could not make contact with the dock. No matter what slight change I make in the position of the iPhone, it cannot make a connection. Hence, am giving unit away to Salvation Army, where maybe somebody can fix it. I *REALLY* loved setting alarms for seven separate days.
Summary: I purchased this alarm clock for my 14 year old. We have tried numerous other alarm clocks for her, even the ones with the bells on top that clang. She has slept through them all, sometimes even when they go off for 30 minutes near her head. This year she started high school and has to get up much earlier. The iLuv has woken her up much more quickly than any other alarm clock! I no longer have to get up and drag her out of bed. I would recommend this for sound sleepers!
Summary: I thought you could use this speaker out doors without an ac power cord,it does not run on batteries. The batteries are used to keep the time when you unplug the speaker so the time doesn't have to be rest. Other then that it sounds great.

Summary: Summary - While billed as a "micro", this device isn't that small - it is more like a table top clock radio that fits well on a corner table. It sounds better than almost all clock radio's, but not by a mile. For its size, I'd have expected a built in small sized subwoofer - so bass is lacking. JBL dropped the ball on this device when it comes to usability - an exact opposite of something that Steve Jobs would design and something I'd expect "Coby" to market..
Summary: My initial expectation was just to use the alarm clock function to wake up with Ipod stored music. I enjoy watching TV in bed, so my big screen and home theater are in my bedroom too. Although my current home theather has an Ipod dock, this JBL system just aside the bed gets the Ipod most of the time.
Summary: Bought for my daughter to replace hers that quit working. System is great but the remote seems to be a joke. Quit working within 2 weeks. It's not just the battery. System is great, remote is just garbage.
Summary: I just received this JBL Alarm Clock today and set it up in my bedroom, where it is intended to be used. Setup was easy and self-explanatory. I did not use the owners manual at all. The small foot print and extraordinary design was just what I was looking for. I have other JBL devises used as Ipod or Iphone docks and was surprised at all the bad unnecessary reviews. This Alarm clock was designed for bedroom use, not to be used as a stereo replacement.
Summary: Great system, but the remote control does not work. I called 3 times to have it replaced but still NO luck!!! It is very discouraging and I am leery of purchasing electronics from amazon again!! Hence why i give it 3 stars.
