Minor irritant

A Wakenshaw, Amazon
11 May 2014
  • Summary: Instructions could do with some guidance on the use/need of the plastic fixing bracket and a hint to ensure unit is charged before attempting to set up. Otherwise the unit is great and the sound quality excellent.

Christmas Present !

M. Fannon, Amazon
20 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought this for my 14 year old daughter for Christmas, and she loves it. Sound quality is brilliant, and she loves the fact it has a remote control. Well worth the money so I would defiantly recommend it.

No iPod Touch adaptor on JBL On Stage IIIP dock bought through Amazon

micipip, Amazon
30 September 2012
  • Summary: JBL advertise the On Stage IIIP dock as being suitable for the latest iPods. Although they supply several adapter plates for iPods there was not one for my new iPod Touch. JBL confirmed that the Touch adaptor is not included. They had the nerve to suggest that I could buy the correct adaptor from Apple and no, JBL wouldn't pick up the tab!!. I looked on the Apple Store website and saw that they sell the correct adaptor for £6 - for a pack of 3.

The best way to listen to music

Mandarin "mandarin", Amazon
16 November 2011
  • Summary: I bought this to complement my new ipod touch. I dislike using earplugs and this seemed a good alternative. Good points: Once you have selected the correct adaptor you just plug into mains, dock your ipod and enjoy superbly clear sound. There's a remote control but you MUST read the instructions otherwise you will try to control Music in Navigation mode or vice versa and the ipod will get confused! Buttons on the dock let you change volume or mute sound very easily.

Excellent Dock, Superb Value

Chicken, Amazon
24 October 2011
  • Summary: Ordered this dock on the Sat and arrived Mon! Great Amazon service. Bought this after researching docks for a while. Someone at my work has this JBL dock and was just what I was looking for esp as the price had gone down to £49.99! My iPhone 4 worked no problem as soon as I plugged it in. It even works with my very old iPod mini! For such a small unit it packs a great sound and unlike other reviewers, I don't find the bass lacking.

amazing sound

Mr. Robert S. Pearson "pearson", Amazon
16 September 2011
  • Summary: I researched the market for quite a while as I have an ear tuned to good clear sounding music and cant stand the boom box bass variety that most of the companies make. This unit provides an amazing clear sound almost unbelievable for its size and cost. The bass and treble are all represented very well giving just one clear pure quality pure sound, as the unit is round it also distributes the sound perfectly around the room a well.

A sound purchase

B P Lester, Amazon
10 August 2011
  • Summary: This is the second of these I have bought (gave the first to my daughter) and for all-round ability at the price I would rate it very highly. Use it in the office and socially and, though not requiring the ultimate speaker, it has clear sound with plenty of volume for tha large room and is extremely easy to operate. Use it off the mains, so battery requirement not an issue for me.
