Did not last very long and fried the iPod that was charging on it when it died

Summary: I gave this item as a gift, now I'm really sorry I did. One year later it died and unfortunately destroyed the iPod that was charging on it at the time. How disappointing. The quality is obviously terrible, you don't expect a clock/charger to only last a year and then end up destroying another...
Summary: I bought this model in April of 2011. One month after the warranty expired it died completely. I thought that spending $60+ on an alarm clock would last me more than a year! I will never purchase an iLuv product again.
Is not chargeing my IPHONES, not Dependable very disapointed

Summary: VERY disappointing, My wife is mad. Our phone do not charge. We both have I Phones4 and got this unit for the dual charging system. The music sound is not dependable. Sometimes it works and other times it does not. We want to return the unit or get one that works.
Summary: I really hate these ihome and iluv clock iPod docks...they have this rotating control on either side which invariably sticks, becomes hard to turn, and is hardly sensitive. Worse, both units - the imm173 and the ihome ip9 - died within a year.
Summary: I searched and searched for an affordable product that would support 2 iphones since I was buying for a couple with 2 iphones. According to the Amazon page, this iLuv very clearly was shown to do that.
Summary: I purchased this item, but on first use the clock screen froze. I sent it back for exchange and had the same problem. The company was a nightmare to work with. Save your money and buy a different product.
Summary: I bought this product without reviewing the reviews. Big mistake. This product is advertised: Alarm clock has two docks for two iPods, two iPhones, or an iPod and an iPhone. When I opened the package, the product specifically lists one dock for iPod only.
Summary: I got this alarm clock in hopes that it would work with my iPhone 3g. Well it does when it wants too, many times my iPhone "says that it is not compatible with the iPhone". It is very frustrating when you plug in an iPhone and it doesn't sync up, I am not sure it I have a bad unit or what.
Summary: Description says: >the option of charging up to two iPods and/or iPhones. This is a plain and simple lie. When you look at the unit, one dock is clearly labeled iPod the other iPod/iPhone. Plugging the iPhone in to the iPod dock results in the not designed for iPhone message.
Summary: I too, like many of the previous reviewers, was unlucky enough to get stuck with the very buggy, freeze-prone, Ver. 1.0 unit. You must contact customer support through their web-site, trying to reach them by phone is futile.
