Summary: I bought this iP1 on bestbuy (actually I regret doing that. Should bought on amazon). After a month or so it started to present a strange behavior: sometimes it was turning off at ramdom or when I was decreasing the volume in the unit. I tried to return it at bestbuy but since the 30 days have passed, they told me they would only accept if I could reproduce the error in front of them.
Summary: Let me start out by saying that I've tried two of these iP1 players. The first one was purchased from an Amazon Marketplace third-party vendor and returned as defective. The replacement unit was purchased directly from Amazon, but very unfortunately had the exact same defect as the original one. I had high expectations for this player, having read glowing reviews in many places (iLounge among them) and was anxious to use my amalgamated Christmas money to purchase it.
Summary: I was happy with the sound quality of this speaker system, but after 3-5 minutes of listening the volume decrease button would automatically start to blink and the volume would turn down to zero. When trying to increase the volume, the decrease button would continue to turn volume down. Almost as if there was a ghost in the room that didn't like my music!
Summary: I had great hopes for this item as it had really good reviews. It was bought to go into out lounge for the rare occasion we sit and listen to music in there. I think since we got it, it has been used 10 times or so, the last time was New Year 2013/14 when we noticed that every time you plugged your iphone into it, it would turn the phone volume right down to zero, you would turn it up either on the phone or on the stereo controls, only for it to turn itself back down...
Overpriced, terrible base and now it's stopped working

Summary: I've had this iHome IP1E High Fidelity Speaker System for 3 years now and whilst I was very happy with it initially, that has worn off to the point that I hate it. The Base sound is really fuzzy, it vibrates at low volume and I can't even attempt to listen to any Massive Attack or dub reggae, it performs really badly. After 1 year of owning it, the power pack stopped working. I replaced it. Now it's just decided to stop playing music.
Summary: Was happy with this player when i bought it. Unfortunately it has lasted me less than 2 years. It has just stopped working. I do not have warranty on it, so therefor is a very expensive mistake me buying it. I have tried to have it fixed but to no avail. Bearing in mind i probably on average used it for less than an hour every couple of weeks, i've had no more than 50 hours use out of it. A very expensive mistake. As they say, they don't make em like they used to!
