Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro

2 November 2011
  • Excerpt: When a new child is born, the older one gets neglected, especially if the little one is not so little and looks almost exactly like its older sibling. The younger child always gets all the attention, eats all the good food and is generally loved by all. But let me not delve into experiences that moulded me into the man I am today, as that’s not the case with Harman Kardon’s Go + Play Micro. This iPod dock looks almost identical to its big brother, the original Go + Play.

Playlist Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro

3 November 2010
  • Excerpt: (1 items) Harman Kardon’s Go + Play Micro portable speaker system for iPhone and iPod looks simultaneously modern and retro. (If it looks familiar, that’s because the Micro is the smaller sibling of the company’s 2006 Go + Play system) The unit’s sleek lines, minimal buttons, and black plastic with metal accents all contribute to its modernness, but the form factor feels delightfully reminiscent of the portable boomboxes of yesteryear.

Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro

PC Magazine
28 May 2010
  • Conclusion: It may be technically portable, but the oddly named Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro isn't small—and neither is its excellent audio output.
  • Pros: Strong audio performance. Attractive Design. Can run on batteries for portability. Full iPod navigation on remote control.
  • Cons: Not all that travel-friendly given its large size. Requires eight C-size batteries to operate without AC power.

Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro review

Pocket Lint
25 August 2010
  • Excerpt: There is something about an iPod dock these days that suggests that it can no longer be just about the speaker. There has to be some design element added in order to make it stand out from the crowd, whether that be a different shape or an innovative layout, one thing it must not be is square or boxy.
  • Pros: Good sound, flash design, well built, portable thanks to battery option
  • Cons: You might think the design is ugly, lacks bass like the B&W Zeppelin

Review: Harman GO + Play Micro

11 November 2010

Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro: mobiles 60-Watt-Soundsystem mit iPod-Dock

3 May 2010
  • Pros: abgefahrenes Design, Videoausgang, Fernbedienung
  • Cons: kein UKW-Radio, zu wenig Leistung, teuer
