Summary: Have been high on Boston for years. Knew this product was discontinued. So pleased it was located, purchased and received. Had a chance for a test-listen before giving it away. It is every bit as awesome as I expected. Am going to order one for ME. Can't give a higher recommendation than that. But with a limited remaining supply, why?
Summary: I purchased this radio for myself several years ago, when I balked at the price of similar Bose stereos - Let me just say, that I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger on the Bose stereo! This does everything that I could ever want a portable boom box with iphone dock to do! Every time I turn it on, I can't believe the depth and range of sound that comes out of this little box!
Summary: Owning two other Boston Acoustic radios, we ordered this for the study because our other Boston Acoustics radios draw hard-to-reach, out-of-town stations with crystal clear sound and lovely tone. But now we wanted to connect our IPods to the new radio to hear our playlists. The Duo-i plus did not disappoint our expectations: great sound and tone, easy set-up, handsome design. But one glitch appeared: When we used the IPod adaptor to play our IPod music, nothing happened.
Summary: I've purchased this item instead a Bose Wave Radio that I have wanted for a long time, since it is half of Bose's price, I decided to give it a try and I knew the sound quality of Boston Acoustics. I am really pleased with it's sound quality, it has such a good bass for the small size, you can pump up the volume and have very very little distortion.
Summary: Boston Acoustics SOLO2B Solo II AM/FM Radio with Clock (Gloss Black) I love my speakers...they have good hi's and lows, while maintaining good clarity...beautiful, black and shiny speakers...speaker area is covered with a strong metal like material...easy to operate, but heavy and hard to carry room to room...
Summary: Spectacular piece of technology. Great easy snooze method, accepts ipod, easy presets, looks cool. only prob is a little bright when sleeping and if you dim, it's hard to adjust settings if necessary. But that's minor compared to the great sound and easy controls..... at a great price compared to similar models.
Summary: We gave this unit to our son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. We rejected a cheaper radio with i-pod dock after seeing negative reviews, and have always had a positive image of Boston Acoustics products. We got rave reviews from them. Perfect size for their kitchen space, great sound quality, easy to use and they like the HD stations. We might buy one ourselves to replace our ugly clunker of a radio.
Boston Acoustics Duo-I Plus iPhone dock Clock Radio

Summary: The audio quality of this radio is simply great! I was a little worried by some of the other reviewers complaints about an unwanted hum noise at low volumes, but that certainly was not the case with the unit I received. I already had owned a smaller Boston Acoustics radio which we use in our kitchen and since that experience had been so positive, I decided to order this unit for our bedroom and see how it turned out. I'm very happy I did.
Summary: Not finding a store in the area that stocked it, I took a leap of faith and ordered. The only negative I had read in past reviews was concerning a low volume buzz, which would have been an issue. I can happily report that there is not a trace of any buzz. We have it on the night stand and wake to the ipod on low volume with no problem what so ever.
Summary: I was looking mainly for great sound below $300 with a straightforward, functional look. I researched all ipod speakers via Cnet and auditioned at least 15 at my local Apple store--the Duo-I Plus was the best by far in the below $300 price range and comparable or better than those costing much more.
