28 August 2010
Summary: REVIEW UPDATED: Summary: * As noted by other reviewers, the system may emit a low buzzing noise if you play songs at low volume - this was repaired by Boston Acoustics * The clock is too small to allow this product to serve as a clock radio * The controls are a bit odd I purchased this product to...
Summary: I really wish I could give 5 *'s after dropping this much $$$ for a clock radio, but best I can give is an average over all. While the overall sound and ease of use are great, there is one glaring problem. You do hear a buzzing feedback at low volumes.
Summary: Overall this is (was) an OK product. The bass response is surprisingly good for it's size and it really fills a room with sound. The settings and controls are easy to use once you figure them out. Unfortunately, after a few years of modest use the unit failed.
Summary: I agree with most reviews, this is a solid unit with a great sound. But be aware of a very low buzzing noise. If you intend to have this unit by your bed and your room is quiet you'll hear a constant low frequency (very disturbing) noise.
Excellent clock radio, but be aware of two minor issues

Summary: I emailed Boston Acoustics support to ask about two problems I was having. I was told to ship the unit in for repair/replacement. So I sent the unit in, but they sent the unit back to me untouched: - The "360º snooze bar (touch-sensitive outer trim)" actually doesn't work. At all.
