Summary: It was so easy to set up. No problems and it's made my Sound Dock 10 a much better system. My only problems are the lack of range and the difficulty of having other components sharing the same connection. It takes some time to get it to recognize the correct component. I can't take my phone into another room from where the Docking station is, or it loses it's connection. Otherwise, if you plan on not walking around, you'll like this connector.
Summary: I bought this from a warehouse after much research. In a nutshell, this is great for areas where a smaller footprint is helpful. I have another Bose system I'm replacing this with in the bedroom, so I can bid farewell to the wired speakers, mounted on the walls and the control unit taking up a bigger part of my nightstand top. I sold audio equipment many years ago _Bose included _ so out of the box, this unit is fairly heavy for it's size. Quality construction IMHO.
Pros: space saver portable
Cons: less bass than i would like older iphone connector not version 5 or >
Summary: Great sound. However the product has few important drawbacks: 1- it is a 110 only voltage rather the the 110-220 V now commonly available on most electronics. So if you move out of the US your are stuffed. This is greed of course, because Bose tries to sell its products for much higher prices in other countries. 2 - you can only connect one device at a time on bluetooth.
Summary: Outstanding sound, have heard bits in songs I have been listening to for years that I never knew existed. Though I wish for an equalizer that I can set, I can get close with the EQ settings on the Pod. Played it for the first time at a family gathering/party my wife put together at our house. Received compliments/queries on the sound from virtually everyone there, never had that happen with my old Sanyo CD/iPOD player!
