Summary: have an iPhone 4s, it worked well initially but then it was impossible to consistently sync my phone to the device upon subsequent uses. Audio quality is above average and what I expected. If it worked reliably it would be worth the money.
Summary: First off, I was upset after opening my Bose top of the line sound system box only to discover that I had to purchase the Bluetooth Adapter separately, especially when Bluetooth was written all over the box. Secondly, there's obviously a problem with my Bluetooth adapter. I have to position my phone within 1 foot of the receiver, and it still cuts out. I've had this issue for over a year.
Changing my review -- constant sound drops make this unacceptable

Summary: We love the Sounddock 10, but the Bluetooth adapter just doesn't hold a connection. None of our other bluetooth devices drop the connection like this. Get a WiFi Airplay adapter instead (e.g., Auris Skye).
Intermittent sound cutoff with iPhone makes it useless for me

Summary: I have used my iPhone other Bluetooth equipment like Jambox with no issues. So I know my phone works. But this overpriced Bose dock is terrible, with intermittent sound cut-offs at random intervals. I thought I had a defect unit, and got it exchanged - but that didn't help. Tried my wife's iPhone 4S as well - same problem.
Summary: I can't believe I spent $150 on this thing! You would think Bose would have at least tested this. We live in a quiet neighborhood with very little wireless activity so that isn't the reason this thing sounds so bad. It's just terrible implementation. If I were you, just plug in your Ipod or Iphone into the SD 10. Please don't buy this. I am normally a huge Bose fan, but this time they really dropped the ball.
