Summary: Fits my iPhone 6 with the Apple leather case. Sound quality is great for the size and easily fills my bedroom for which I bought it for. Deducted one star because I'm not planning to use it as a dock and it would have been great if it came with a little plastic cover to cover the dock opening. The app is also rudimentary. I would have like functionality to turn off the speaker remotely and an option to turn off the LED.
Summary: Pros: 1- Great contemporary design. 2- Sound fills a small room very well. 3- Good sound (albeit a bit heavy and dull on bass). Cons: 1- Airplay keeps disconnecting intermittently (using B/G/N router). This is by far the most annoying problem. 2- Poor Documentation: Enclosed set-up instructions are very poor (look online for manual). 3- Poor Remote: Volume buttons have a long lag time, battery cover is very difficult to remove without instruments. 4- No battery power.
Summary: Very impressed. Sounds great-fills a room. Everything from the packaging to the product manual shows the care and attention to detail from Bowers and Wilkins. So far I love this system for my ipod.
Summary: Beautiful sound and airplay is amazing. Sound is room-filling and surprisingly loud for its size without any distortion. Bass is clear and not boomy. However, it does have some connectivity issues, as mentioned in some of the negative reviews online. Music will stall occasionally while playing. I noticed it happens more frequently when I'm using my phone while also streaming from Spotify or Pandora.
Summary: Great piece of audio equipment. 6-stars! So much better than any other docking / wi-fi / bluetooth equipment out there. It lives up to the B&W brand and could qualify in the lower fringes of Hi-Fi - I am no true audiophile, this is just an opinion in a standard setting. I have a higher-priced, 5-elements Bowers & Wilkins A7 and the difference in sound fullness, bass filling and tweet crispness of this lower-range Z2 is much less than expected.
