Summary: For the price this little thing puts out good sound and has lasted 2 AZ summers (100-115 degree heat) next to the pool almost every weekend. The remote is so-so and it eats batteries alive, but if you have an outlet to plug it in this thing is perfection at it's finest for a cheap outdoor boombox
Summary: When this product came out I do believe it was in the $100+ range. This basically is a couple of full range car door speakers with a class T amp in a plastic ported box. Dock your Ipod and put the EQ on treble booster for loud clean sound.
Summary: I got a new job where we get to listen to music while we work, a sweet deal but reception is bad indoors so I had bought an Ipod and then went looking for something to dock it with. The MTX is easy to use, plug in, dock your Ipod, turn on the speakers, they have volume control and that's it.
Summary: This boombox really bumps. The bass sounds good if you adjust the eq. I think it has too much bass if anything. But it is loud and clear and you can really turn it up at a party and still hear it.
