A boombox that isn't boom-friendly

Shemil, Amazon
25 March 2014
  • Summary: On the one hand, this boombox is MP3 friendly and has a remote control. It also runs on batteries. But the sound quality is poor once you turn the volume up. Overall, if I had to do it over again, I would pass on this purchase.

Warning will not charge Ipods past a 1st Gen without adapter purchased seperatly

JP, Amazon
26 December 2012
  • Summary: Sounds good for a portable but that being said that main reason for buying this was so my daughter could listen to music and charge her ipod . Well guess what? - if you have a newer ipod (2G, 3G, 4G not sure about the other newer ones ) it won't charge! Even though it says -charges IPODS. Seriously? Yes.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY THIS ITEM

Darrell Benatar "http://www.surprise.com", Amazon
15 February 2007
  • Summary: This boom box cannot have batteries in it when it is plugged-in to an electrical unit. It says this explicitly in the user guide that comes with it. So that means, you have to take the batteries out if you want to plug it into the wall. I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. It also didn't come with an adaptor for the new smaller Nano.
