Summary: Of other silicon cases I've owned, and other cases I've seen other people using, I haven't found a better way to keep my iPod safe and clean. I keep this case on 100% of the time and my iPod looks the same it did the day I bought it. I've had the same one for two years and you wouldn't be any the wiser if I told you I bought it yesterday. Almost everything on my iPod, including the bottom plug, are covered.
Summary: This is the little red dress that all 80GB Video IPOD must wear. It fits snug, is sleek, sexy and really compliments the IPOD. I like the built in screen protector and the little flap that covers the docking port (beneath the IPOD) when you are on the go. As to how durable it is and how much impact it will endure, honestly I don't know as I'm not into dropping an expensive IPOD.
Summary: I bought this case about two years ago when I received my ipod and I love it! It protects everything and I haven't had a problem with the wheel just yet. I've also dropped my ipod a few times at the gym using the eliptical and it protects the ipod perfectly.
Summary: I've had an iPod video since they first came out, and have tried any number of screen protectors and cases. With the exception of the Otter Box OtterBox Defender Case for 80/120/160 GB iPod classic 6G (Black/Clear) which I use for rainy weather, boating and swimming (yes, it works beautifully, although it's too big for everyday use--I'd buy a Kindle Kindle Wireless Reading Device (6" Display, U.S.
Summary: I had a previous version of this skin and there's just no comparison. This skin has a tight fit but there's a gap between the plastic case and the skin. The plastic also seems more scratch prone than my last cover. There used to be little nubs on the front that kept the plastic from hitting the surface when you put it face down - the nubs on this version are not prominent enough to get the job done. The only improvement has been the hold button cover being removed.
Summary: This product does what its supposed to do, protect the ipod, however it is much thicker and bulkier than I expected it to be. You can't really tell from the picture but there is a plastic guard that goes between 2 layers of silicone over the wheel and screen. This almost doubles the Ipod's size. I will probably continue looking for a case that compliments Ipod's thin sleek design.
