Summary: This is my first iHome I have ever bought. First I'd like to say my iPhone 4s has an otterbox defender case and this does not cooperate with the iHome. I do not recommend buying the extensions to plug your phone + case to the iHome.
Summary: I was really surprised by the excellent sound quality of this unit. I would have given it 5 stars but unfortunately my kids ipod wouldn't communicate with the ihome because the connection point on the ipod has a bent pin, therefore we were not able to use the ihome to its fullest capabilities.
Summary: I bought this for the first time at a Walmart. It was ok, average to "decent" sound for an alarm clock, the remote had a very limited angle even with new battery. Unfortunately it fell down 2 feet on the carpet and its iPod connection broke. So I ordered the "new model" from Amazon.
Summary: Despite the fact that this is the first item that pops up when you search "iHome iPhone 5" on Amazon, this product is not in fact compatable with the iPhone 5, which is the reason for the one-star review. That information is not listed anywhere in the product description.
Summary: Before ordering I made sure it was compatible with the new iPhone 5 and it said it was but after purchasing it for a Christmas gift we found out it was not. I don't want to have to pay for shipping and handling when I was mislead about the product.
Summary: Sorry to say I bought this for my daughter for graduation, i had bought this several months before I gave it to her. When she got it it worked for ONE day. Then to speakers stopped working. I wanted to send it back, but it was to late for a return.
Summary: My husband loves the feature that allows you to dim the clock. I love that you can have two different alarm times programmed. It has great sound quality. User friendly :) Works with our 4th generation iPod.
