Summary: Didn't even know this existed on my ipod before finding it in the catalog. It arrived, I plugged it in and that was that. I select Radio from the menu and a nice radio dial interface shows up with the ability to do preset stations. Better reception than a lot of radios I've had. The remote control works great and has a seperate hold slider so things don't get out of control. I use the remote even when doing other things with the ipod.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Set Up, Ergonomic Design, Nice Button Configuration, Nice Features, Strong Signal
Summary: It's a good remote, especially with the way it almost just "Comes" into the iPod like it was already there when you bought it. The reception is also brilliant, with none of those sound quality dropping in certain places. And finally, it is also handy as it has a remote, no need to get the iPod out to change a station. It is a handy tool, but for the price... I think it would have been better to retail it for about $30 or bundle it in a "value" package.
Pros: - Good antenna - Fits into the iPod style easily - Remote
"If you want an iPod with a FM radio, there is no other option is there?"
21 May 2006
Summary: Although I suspect Apple are just trying to squeeze as much money out of us as possible, because its cheaper for US to buy an MP3 Player that has an FM radio built into it, without having to buy accessory after accessory, and after we buy all of them, I am sure Apple sales will climb substantially when they finally do incorporate an FM radio into one of their models.
