Tiny Tower

23 June 2011
  • Excerpt: This insanely addicting building sim is certainly worth your time, but prepare for countless hours of your life to be consumed by it. is a digital drug. It's not to be handled lightly, especially by those who are easily distracted. A lone editor in the GamePro office started playing it on their iPhone, and within days we were all caught up in an endless haze with our sights set firmly on the vertical horizon. It's free. It's dangerous. You have to try it.
  • Pros: PROS: Free to download; excellent attention to detail (esp. the Tiny Tower Facebook extra, "Bitbook"); easy to pick up and play.
  • Cons: CONS: In only a few days it can feel like a problematic addiction; makes being productive at work next to impossible; takes serious will-power to not let either of these cons happen.

22 October 2010
  • Excerpt: Dice Tower, a dice-stacking game requiring rudimentary math skills and a dash of good fortune, has been released by ArianeSoft and is available from the app store. • Cons: Cluttered, inelegant game info area, Clumsy control mechanic that tends to block view of game, Luck-based elements can lead to significant frustration

Tiny Tower

29 June 2011
