Summary: The price made it a good deal, however my drive keeps hanging up while in use and is causing my system to lag sometimes. it's only 3-5 seconds a few times a day. I also had to reinstall windows after having it installed for about 20 minutes because the drive had lost a file somehow that soon.
Summary: I used this as a replacement drive in my DirecTivo. R10. The process was fairly tricky because I copied everything from the old drive, and I needed to buy an IDE/Sata adapter from WeaKnees, but the drive itself was great (and very quiet and cool). I now have room for 450 hours of SD programs.
Summary: I guess I love it...it's a 500GB hard drive and so far it works with no problems. It was a replacement for a 40GB hard drive in an older SFF HP computer I decided to upgrade for a backup computer, so it most likely won't get a lot of use...at least for now.
Summary: The drive arrived very fast and was packed well. I used it to replace a defective hard drive in a video surveillance system. Not that it mattered to me but it arrives with no documentation or instructions just a bare drive in a box.
