Summary: All I can say is the drive works. I use it as part of a RAID-1 setup so reliability isn't as critical as it would be normally. Therefore I felt like I could take a risk on buying this used drive. I've had it for several months now and it has given me no problems at all.
Summary: I bought this WD5000AAKS 2 years ago. Has been working fine, until two weeks ago, The Windows system started intermittently issuing events 9, 11 and 51 (parity errors on disk drive). I neglected replacing that disk then (I didn't understand which disk drive it was - the PC has 3 drives). Now the system can't read that disk, at all.
