Pros: value per capacity, it is a cheap drive for the capacity since it came out and still keeps that adavantage
Cons: once you use it a while you'll start to notice a degradation in access speed, then it starts increasing it's operating temperature, and finally it starts failing. after a while failures become a regular thing of the day and you'll start to reboot more an
Summary: Installed the drive in an external USB/eSATA case for use as external backup (full disk images) of all the PC's in my home. This drive is much faster (Read/Write time) than similar drives I've used.
Summary: Not much to say. It's just a hard drive. No mounting rails were included (perhaps they never are). Added rails from my previous drive, slid it in, connected the 2 cables, and it ran just fine. Loaded Windows 7 and was up an running in no time. No problems since. Seems pretty quick.
Pros: Easy To Install, Fast, Highly Compatible, Quiet, Reliable
Summary: I had to return this product. If your computer is Sata II 3.0 ready then you can just insall it. If your computer is Sata 1.5 then you have to set the jumper to pin #5-6 this HD does not come with a jumper. Called WD they do not supply jumper with HD or sell jumper pin.
