Hard drives work in Drobo
PhotoBug, B&H Photo
Excerpt: I installed two of the 4 TB WD Red SATA 3.5" NAS hard drives in a 4-bay Drobo enclosure. I use Carbon Copy Cloner software to backup my photographic archive to the Drobo. Thus far, everything is working perfectly.
Excerpt: I bought these to go into my Asustor AS5104T NAS. They are running quiet and cool. The performance is perfect for my NAS, I will be ordering 2 more very soon...from BH Photo. They arrived quickly and well packed.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy to use, High Capacity, Quiet
Summary: I purchased this hard drive for use in a NETGEAR WNDR 4700 router which can hold an internal hard drive. The hard drive seems to have two different operating speeds. When the drive is working at it's fastest I can write to it at 15 to 20 MB/s; however when it is working at it's slow speed I only see 0.5 to 1.5 MB/s. Note that this is over a 450 MB/s wifi connection.
Excerpt: Firstly: Thank you Staples for a quick speedy delivery! I placed the order then it arrived the very next day with standard shipping! Thanks!!!This drive works just fine - I use it for extra storage and for minor use for working on Photoshop files that don't need huge amounts of edits and layers. I haven't tested it out with large large files but that wasn't my initial intent with this drive anyway.
Excerpt: These are great hard drives. I replaced my 2TB drives with these because I was running out of space. Wanted something reliable and they do a great job. They were easy to sey up in a raid and are very quiet. Went with B&H photos because they were the cheapest and have a great customer service.
