Good, Reliable Drive for 1-1/2 Years Now
SkyinVa "Susan", Amazon
1 May 2013
Summary: I ordered this drive from Amazon in November 2011 when my 4 year old Seagate drive started to fail. I was a Seagate fan, but when I was looking at new drives it looked like WD was more reliable. A few months later my son ordered the same drive and has had no problems in the past year. This drive has worked flawlessly for me and is very quiet. I have never had any error messages. I am getting ready to order the 1TB version of this drive for my new build.
Summary: The package, I received was well done, job. I opened it and took it out of the box. I placed it inside the computer as soon as I could and it worked just great. A thumbs up, for this seller and item. A big smile....LOL!
Summary: If you haven't formatted or installed an operating system on a hard disk for a while especially on Win XP, you need to a little research. Hard drives the last few years have an advanced formatting system. Win 7 and 8 can deal with it OK and also some versions of Linux. Win XP can be used. you just need to take some precautions in formatting.
Summary: I'm very happy with this drive. It was nicely packaged and delivered well before the ship date. Runs like a champ with zero issues. If you need a cheap drive in a pinch this is your cherry. High marks to the seller for prompt and efficient service. NOTE TO GWTECHPARTS- In this economic climate most customers are going to read reviews about your company prior to making any purchase. When you leave the type of feedback about your customers that Ive seen.
Summary: This hard drive so far is great i have had no problems it was simple to install and get up and running i would reccomend this product to whoever needs to replace theirs thanks amazon for another great buying experience.
