Great for PS 3

Summary: First off all I've got to say that the hardest part was looking how to change it out. I had youtube, and thank God for it. This thing took all of 5 minutes to install, and once it was formatted no problem at all. I did have a few restore hard drive moments.
Summary: Bought this for use with an xbox 360 slim, cost $50 instead of $120 for the official one. Have to run a program to make it compatible. Amazon shipped it in a static bag, inside of a small box. Drive was secured using spacers. Not sure fastest drive out there but certainly adequate, reliable so far.
Summary: Great drive! Works perfect in my PS3 and now I never have to worry about running out of space. My old drive was a 40 gb and it seemed the system took up most of that. Now I have about thirty games installed with all the internet add ons and still have about 400 gb of free space.
Summary: This WD Scorpio is such a great product at a reasonable price. For less than the amount of a new game you could get 500 GB of storage to use on your PS3 or Laptop. I bought this specifically for my PS3 because I needed more storage after 3 yrs of constant use.
Summary: I bought this drive to put into my 13" White Macbook (The first version released in 2006) It fits perfect and worked fine. One thing to be aware of is that may have to to do a disk utility of the drive if your Macbook doesn't recognize the drive after you install.
Summary: Replacement drive for a 2010 13" MacBook Pro. Works fine, but isn't nearly as quiet at the stock drive (Seagate 250GB). I work in a very quiet office and the drive makes audible white noise, like a small fan is running.
Great upgrade for my Macbook Pro (1.83 GHz Core Duo)

Summary: Thanks to this harddrive (and 54.95) my Macbook Pro went from 80 gigabytes of storage to half a terrabyte. The new drive is whisper quiet, runs cooler, is faster, and is roomy. I don't feel a need to upgrade this notebook for quite a while with this upgrade.
Summary: I bought this hard drive a few months ago due to the lack of space of my PS3 80 GB hard drive. I made a back up of the data from the PS3 hard drive, and then I removed the old one and installed the new one (500 GB nice!) and it was immediately detected and formatted in a few instants.
Summary: I bought this to replace my 40GB HD in my PS3, and it works fine. Once you install it, you must have a flash drive or some type of external media to download the latest PS3 update (3.10 at the time) to the flash drive, then to your PS3. Until you do that, you won't be able to start up your PS3.
