Thoroughly Used Drives (bought from BuyAccessories)

Summary: Like others have said these are very used drives. You might as well dig into the used section of this page to get them as cheap as possible. The ones I've gotten should do the job, but the drive I checked had almost 70,000 hours of power on hours on it. Doesn't get much more used than that.
Summary: This item was, to all intents and purposes, exactly as advertised. Unfortunately I was unable to determine that this particular device, without actually testing in s was incompatible with the equipment for which it was purchased.
Summary: A perfect fit for a HDD in a cablebox that died. Somewhat quieter than the one I replaced. Go ahead and order it, SATA is becoming rare these days and do not bother with a used disk, think about the time you spend to change it out. Do you really want to do it again when a used HDD fails?
Pros: Drive is working like it should with no problems. This drive was purchased to replace a HDD that was about to fail. Copied the WinVista install from old to new drive NO problem. The old drive was 80GB 5400RPM, this is a very not upgrade and make the system faster.
Cons: Only con would be that IBM/Hitachi no longer make this drive, other then that no issues with drive.
Summary: The reason for 4 stars is because I was only able to purchase 1 drive at the time of order. I wish I could have purchased more then one drive. Will purchase another soon for another clients computer.
Pros: The HDD arrived quickly and it installed to an older Acer Aspire 1710 laptop with no problems. I bought this for a client laptop where they had a 5400 rpm drive in before. Since adding this drive Windows Vista, Outlook and QuickBooks load A LOT faster.
Summary: Drive failed after 6 months of use. Like a couple others the drive is out of warranty back in 2013 per WD warranty check. It is a refurbished drive. When first installed it made a high pitched noise. I knew it would only be a matter of time till this drive failed.
