Vinayak Kottoor, Amazon
23 August 2013
  • Summary: Advertised as BJKT model (drop detection sensor), received BEKT (without sensor), for a replacement laptop and it was a good price so didn't pursue any further but certainly warrants a downgrade on rating.

Solid Reliable Drive

W. Harmon, Amazon

  • Summary: This drive is now 3 year old and still working well under extreme temperature conditions. I purchased this drive for use in an older HP Laptop computer as a replacement for an failing 80GB drive. The HP laptop that I purchased this drive for is located in my Pocono cabin and stays there year round. Once the drive was installed in the computer I installed Fedora Linux as the operating system.

El_Duder, Amazon
31 January 2011
  • Summary: Replaced a dead HD in a friend's HP DV9500. I read briefly that these were quick drives and was glad to see in my initial benchmarks that this drive delivered high performance (double the old one) and was quiet. Worth It

Neran, Amazon
22 January 2011
  • Summary: After reading most of the reviews of these drives (Yea, i looked at all the types/models/sizes) i realised that its just a matter of personal opinion. I have heard that they are noisy, create alot more heat, and no effect on performance. Well, I have a Dell D630, and having swapped the drive myself and compared it to the original i have to state that this drive is worth the upgrade. This drive is fast... wicked fast.
