Good little hard drive for the money.

Summary: Bought this to install linux on, ended up swapping the purpose and using it as a document and music storage with a small virtual machine of linux on it, but I did get linux on it and a successful dual boot working. I haven't noticed slow read or write speeds seems to work as a just fine hard drive.
Summary: I bought this to add to my computer as a back-up hard drive. My main HD is also 160GB, so they are a good match. It was easy to copy all important files from my my main HD to this new back-up hard drive. I now have duplicate copies (a s well as CDs) of my Family Photographs (and scanned photos) which span a period of 50 years. Other software can be purchased quite easily. But you can't go back and re-shoot your "little ballerina's" first dance recital.
Summary: Once again so tired like I have the time to write reviews for "good job done"....group hug. Thinking of just ordering from somewhere else that cost more, but do keep annoying and bugging me for reviews
Summary: Having gone thru 3 500 gig hard drives in 2 computers in the last 3 years, I don't have allot of faith in hard drives these days. I opted for a smaller hard drive for a replacement since my storage needs are small. I've had this hard drive a little over a month and so far, no problems. The price was great too. And I'm using it to write this review! Recommended for now.
