2 out of three work

Summary: 33% failure rate on this one order. Maybe that's why there is only a 30 day warranty on these drives - they are not expected to last.
Pros: Cheap - Two out of the three I ordered three seem to work OK.
Cons: The first drive that I installed was defective. I checked it with the W.D. Diagnostic tool and it has bad sectors that can not be repaired. I should have checked it before I took wasted time installing the O.S. The drive will have to be sent back.
Summary: I recommend this product unless you download games and such, as it will run out of space in no time!
Pros: I've owned this hard drive for around 5 years and it is still running fine!
Cons: The only con I have is that is only has 127 GB not 160. I will be buying a new hard drive soon because of this small size. I'd but it again, if it were 500gb! :D The only reason I have this is because my brother built me a pc and I had a small budget, so he got a 160gb hdd without acknowledgement...
Summary: I bought this item and I never got to use it but the company refunded me my money and before the refund they worked along with me to help solve the problem. The shipment was fast and packaging was okay.
Summary: Vendor honored return agreement. The hard drive was defective out of the box..evidently a new factory return that should have been discarded and not resold . This is the first WD drive I have had a problem with in 15 years...Western Digital (WD )makes great hardrives.
Summary: Great drive, I always use WD drives but this came without warranty! I find the WD drives great, but the best part is the return service when things go wrong (and they all do). Luckily the WD drive replacement service is A1. Not so with this drive :(
Summary: brought it as new but the drive is either recon or used. still had previous system information on it. but works and its cheap for a small spare drive just be warned.it should have said something about not being new drives in the ad
