Definitely a poor choice to save a few bucks
Jimmy D "Jimmy", Amazon

Summary: Definitely a poor choice to save a few bucks, though I doubt anyone will try to pick this up today (2015). Get a 50 dollar SSD and save yourself the trouble. This thing does not write or read fast enough, and causes frequent lag on my computer.
Summary: I purchased 15 'new' hd's. of the fifteen, I have attempted to use six. of the six, five have failed out of the box. I attempted to contact the seller to replace the supposed 'new' hd's. I got zero response. zero effort to help the customer. don't buy from here.
Summary: Came DOA. Dont risk loosing your good money on something that isnt even going to work when you get it. Please use a different brand completely if you dont want to have to get screwed over with this hunk of junk.
Cons: I purchased 3 of these last year to upgrade some older Dells. 2 of them installed fine, although 1 of the computers runs slow with it installed. 3rd came DOA, WD sent a replacement but it too was DOA (both of them bad boot sectors). I therefore, several times figured that it was other components (my suspicion was the GPU) cau...
Summary: OK, installed this in a business almost a year ago and it has not failed so guess it was a good purchase:) Update (26FEB13): Well, bought two and the first one lasted ten months and has died in month 11. Second one (backup) is now installed.
Summary: I purchased this drive and after installation found that the drive was defective. I ran dban and a bunch of other tools against it but was never able to use the drive. The seller was prompt with their refund and a way to return the drive.
