Summary: Can't complain about a SATA drive that works from the day you plug it in. HD reviews don't bother me much anymore. I've looked at so many reviews from Seagate and WD that it came to the point that it's a hit and miss ordeal.
Summary: Got this drive running in a TiVo HD box. So far, in comparision to a Seagate SV35 1TB AV drive I had in the TiVo previously, I'm finding that this drive runs noticeably cooler and quieter than the Seagate.
Summary: This is the exact drive used in the latest Sky HD "1Tb" model DRX-895. It's actually a 1.5Tb drive with 500GB reserved for 'anytime' recordings. If you got one of the recent free box replacements or just want to upgrade this is the best drive to use, works perfectly.
Summary: Like everyone else I researched which drives work best in the Sky HD box. Although you can buy cheaper, I decided on this one. I'm not disappointed. I used ExPVR to transfer all my recordings onto the new drive. My old drive was at 53% free; after installing the new drive I had 92% disc space free.
