Works perfectly

Simple Guy, Amazon
17 February 2014
  • Summary: I usually use the Western Digital brand, as I'm familiar with their product and have had no problems. This drive is no exception. I use Linux, don't need blazing speeds, and this system is a few years old, so I can't speak to performance. It's plenty fast enough for my purposes.

Awesome!

Bill Raley "Vista Bill", Amazon
23 August 2011
  • Summary: I purchased one of these to update my available hard drive storage. I had a WD 320gb in the machine and was satisfied that this would be a good choice. A few weeks before I purchased this drive, I purchased a 500gb WD internal drive. Both are in my machine now. I have my Vista os and programs on the 500gb drive and use the 1tb drive for my data files. Both are fine after about six months. I'm pleased with these WD drives.

Great hard drive

Mark C., Amazon
17 March 2011
  • Summary: I purchased two of these WD Caviar 1 TB SATA HD for a Linksys NAS system. I went with WD because I believe they have a good product and I talked to a systems guy who said WD was one of the best. My previous 500GB HD (one) died. I upped the size of my drive and put them in RAID configuration. After installation the drives performed great. I have had them about a month and have had no issues at all.
