Great drives but these are not designed for RAID configuration

Summary: Great drives but these are not designed for RAID configuration. One of them died on me after months of serial abuse on my QNAP NAS. I'd say they aren't enterprise strength, but great otherwise.
Summary: Had this thing for 6 years and have been using it constantly since. Started out as a boot drive, then became a storage drive since. It does park the heads (or some method) to save energy, so video games have the occasional 2 seconds frame freeze every 10 minutes or so and movies tend to do it too around 10-20 minutes. Finally just used it as a picture/document storage drive since 1TB is quickly becoming too small for game and movie storage anyway.
Summary: I usually use the Western Digital brand, as I'm familiar with their product and have had no problems. This drive is no exception. I use Linux, don't need blazing speeds, and this system is a few years old, so I can't speak to performance. It's plenty fast enough for my purposes.
Summary: Install inside cabinet, conect wires turn on system. Running perfect. Nice product, good performance. The part price is nice, but for brazilians the courrier price is very expensive, and has local tax too, cautin with this
