Summary: I ordered a 120 gb new. I got a 160gb refurbished. It is nice that I was upgraded, but this is not what I ordered. But thanks for the upgrade. Also according to Western Digitals website, the warranty expires in October 2014. So I only have a 4 month warranty.
Summary: i took an older laptop and upgraded it to Windows 7 Pro from XP. I needed much more space because I use this laptop for digitizing music and graphics. The software takes up more space than I had available and was not compatible with XP.
Summary: Works perfect. This is actually the second one I purchased, I happened to need two one for a laptop and one for a ps3 slim. The only reason I give 4 star and not 5 I think the packaging was a little skimpy just a bubble envelope, both drives arrived fine and work perfect however I could see this...
Summary: I ordered the hard drive for my hp lap top. When it arrived (timely) the connection was different than the one that I had. I found out later after I sent it back that the hp has an adapter that pressed on to the hard drives connector and if I had known all I had to do was to remove that adapter.

Summary: I bought the drive as a replacement for an existing hard drive in a laptop computer. It operated as expected and the seller got it out to me quickly. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and the product.
Summary: I bought this hard drive for an older laptop that didn't have one so I could install the Windows 8 Consumer Preview on it. So far, it has been detected by the computer and all the software installed fine.
