Pros: Reading good reviews online. Haven't received it yet.
Cons: I am not sure where in this website or in your account to track something you just bought. I can't find it anywhere. I've read that newegg.com takes forever to shipped things to the buyers and it is frustrating not knowing where your items is.
Cons: When I put in it good and running fast. Start slow and slower in 2 weeks after one month and boot up take forever then crash it... lost anything. Nah I won't buy this again it lot problem and take forever shipping

Summary: I have several hard drives, this is the first western digital I've had to fail. Let's see how good the 5 year warranty is. I'll revisit this review when the dust settles...if I get a replacement via the warranty.
Pros: It's a western digital. 5 year warranty according to sales pitch.
Cons: It's a western digital. Installed it in March of 2013, it's October of 2013 and it just bit the dust. Thought I had a virus/bug turns out to be the hard drive.
Cons: I finally got around to replace the drive once installed the folder of death appeared with the ? in the middle. The drive was dead on arrival. I replaced the old HD with it no problem starting up. No more WD for me I will use someone else, out $75 and I actually liked WD for their products.
Summary: Customer service is horrible. If you get an order for a product and collect the $$$, then you should ship it as promised. I have a business that depends on getting product for repairs, and this action just cost me a customer.
Cons: Failed to deliver 3 hard drives ordered on 7/6 as a Shell Shocker deal. Gave me tracking no. and on 7/9 sent me a RMA notification. Said refund would be issued to PP within 5 days. No offer to ship the items. Seller remorse??? Originally scheduled to arrive on 7/10, but they were returned to warehouse by shipper and no offer to reship them or reactivate my order, just a small shipping perk and no good excuses. I did not see on the tracking that they ever left the ware...
Summary: I would pay double for not having the wd name anywhere near my computer. No amount of money is worth the pain and aggravation a sketchy hard drive can deliver. Avoid at all costs. Avoid any pc or dvr with this antagonist device in it.
Pros: Heavy enough to hold down papers on a windy day. Possibility of getting to know sexy sounding customer support rep after so many many conversations.
Cons: They have a low resale value, always the cheapest online due to the word is out how (vacuum pumpy) they are. Support will send same bad drive with same problem(s) which can refocus your attention on other things like motherboard etc. (I suspect this could be calculated) Company may go out of business at any time. (as they should). Wasted over a year waiting for my fast computer that was slow only due to defective intermittent drive, and warranty "service" that replace...
