Pros: This is a standard 7200 rpm drive that I bought as a reconditioned item at a great price. I have been working this thing to death from a docking station. It has been running for many hours and runs cool and quiet. It is fast and easy to work with as long as you don't have an issue with a bare drive. This purchase was a no-brainer.
Summary: I decided to wait a couple months after I installed this hard drive, as I hate people that review right away - the hard drive could die just a month later! I bought this about 5 months ago and my computer is still running very strong. Easy to install, runs fast, decent amount of GB for what I need. I was an IT major in college but now my laptop does not need anything hardcore, so this was perfect for it.
Fast, but wish I didn't have to buy Acronis 2013 for functionality

Summary: As advertised, this hard drive works fast. Only downside is the fact that I had to purchase Acronis True Image 2013 ($50) inorder to clone to the hard drive enclosure. I could not use the free version of Acronis since it recognized the enclosure drivers rather than the drivers on the Scorpio Black HD.
Summary: The drive is not as silent as I thought it would be based on the advertisement. However, the speed is quite nice, and it seems to be more resistant against bumps and jolts than other hard drives.
Summary: Hardest time was getting the current 160GB WD drive to clone over to the new WD drive. Tried MANY different products (CloneZilla/WD's cloning tool/Macrium Reflect) and various methods. Finally got it to clone by installing the new drive internal to the laptop, and moving the existing drive to the external USB port.
Summary: Got this to replace the 5400 RPM drive that came in my Lenovo IdeaPad. I specifically purchased a western digital drive because that is the brand that came with the laptop, and this made a seamless and mostly problem-free hard drive cloning using WD's Acronis True Image software (downloadable from their website).
Summary: I install the drive on my ps3 it work but you have to do a long process to install it and look for many solution on different website so you got to be patient but its worth the result. Good luck.
Summary: No real complaints, except the usual; formatted size is less than advertised. I know this is the usual case (due to the fact that 1 MB = 1024 bytes, not 1000)... but SOME hard drive manufacturers sell drives in which the actual formatted size is as advertised. I wish they all would. Speed is good (I despise standard 5400 rpm drives, so 7200 is great), and it's quiet enough.
Summary: I bought this HD to change the 160 GB one in my Macbook Pro. Not only I have more space but also the performance of the Mac has increased considerably (I also incremented the RAM, so I don't know exactly how much it increases). The drawback it that it is a little bit noisy, and as it works at 7200 rpm, I think it uses more battery power.
