  • Summary: Great drive when used in a NAS. Have being using two of these drives in a RAID 1 running 24/7 for the past 2 years in a Synology DS 212+ Not much more to really stay except that I'm very pleased with the product. For a home or small business this is an ideal drive. I keep a 3rd drive as a spare of which has not been used and just collects dust.
  • Pros: Solid Drive, price per TB is on par, Great for NAS
  • Cons: nothing really

  • Summary: These are great drives for extra storage for media or what have you. They are good value over the higher performing drives if you just need storage without the extra speed.
  • Pros: Quiet Operation, Low power usage, Plenty of Storage, Runs Cool
  • Cons: None

  • Summary: I just past my two year warranty on two of these drives that I got from NCIX. I've been running them 24/7 and have not had a problem with them or any WD drive. They are perfect for mass storage.
  • Pros: quiet, cool, reliable, low power consumption
  • Cons: none besides speed, but that's why there are black and red drives

I didn't even notice

Rexer, Amazon

  • Summary: I replaced the HD in my Dell Studio XPS 435mt, in 11/12. It's now 9/13 and it's surprising quiet than the old WD Blue 650GB. I used a Startech HD duplicator #SATDOCK22RE and in less than 2 hours, I had my 435mt up and running. Slightly modified from the original mini tower, it runs 15 hours a day. I'm very satisfied and I'd recommend the WD 750 GB Caviar Green (WD75000AARS) HD to friends. I'd buy another.
