11 December 2012
  • Summary: I have two of these drives. One is still chugging along while the other failed last month. I spent a couple of weeks using TestDisk getting as much off it as possible (Windows could only see the boot or reserved section). Then I started the RMA process with WD.
  • Pros: Good price, decent warranty period
  • Cons: Not so good RMA process
