Summary: I bought this hard-drive in August of 2013 and it's dead as of December 31st of 2014. My customer isn't happy he's lost the last two weeks of business data. It isn't my fault at least because for a business computer I would recommend backing up business stuff daily.
Summary: This drive works just like the original, which it is (just 10 years later). I have saved several legacy computers by doing a bit-copy of the entire original hard drive onto these. New, the speed enhancement is startling and they will last another 10 years I suspect.
Pros: I have had this harddrive (HDD) for one year and have never experienced any issues. I use it to store everything except my operating system (OS), like my programs, games, etc. Good memory size to start off.
Summary: A good hard drive for the cost. As I have experienced with Western Digital Hard Drives, they install easily and are ready to go right out of the box. Has really good access time, and I have yet to have had a "bad" hard drive.
