Trascend 128GB IDE/PATA SSD

Anonymous, Newegg
7 January 2015
  • Summary: Why do I have to have other thoughts?
  • Pros: If you have one or more older systems that is running at least Windows XP, and has IDE/PATA ports, grab one of these. They'll make you think that you've bought a new computer.
  • Cons: Can't be used on nearly all newer computers, since IDE/Parallel ATA has been replaced with SATA.

Probably not for you!

Neil N., Newegg
3 November 2013
  • Pros: ssd
  • Cons: Marketing information neglects to mention this is an IDE drive. Since it is NOT mSATA, it is not compatible with your SATA buses. Some call it PATA, some call it IDE.

Transcend IDE Modules

Robert Magee, Amazon
3 June 2013
  • Summary: I ordered 6 pieces of this product - the Transcend IDE 128 MB Flash Module. 5 of the 6 worked, but one of them did not. When I tried to get it replaced (I tried within one day of receipt of the items) I was told that they could not replace electronic items.

NOT 128Gigs! Only 128 MEGS!

Max, rakuten
18 September 2010
  • Summary: The product description says 128G, and the specs list a memory capacity of 128G, but if you look at the PHOTO of the product, it is 128 MEGS (one eighth of a gig), the part number indicates 128M, and if you look it up at other sites it is 128 MEGS.
