Summary: Replaced a failing drive on a Toshiba Satellite laptop and after everything was restored, it seems that there's a noticeable improvement in performance together with the increased amount of storage (oem drive is 500gb). I just hope that it will last for a while...
Summary: Have had this HDD in my ps3 for several months now and seems to be running as expected, lots of room! There is some slight lag; just a bit of delay at various times but rare and hardly noticeable. If your really into performance I would recommend a 7200rpm.
Summary: I had a Seagate Momentus SSD in my MacBook Pro, it lasted one year. Then failed miserably. this has replaced it, I lost some seriously fast startup and shutdown times, but that is really it. This drive gets a workout, and performs great.
Summary: Had a catastrophic disk failure in my notebook that I used for work and needed a replacement. Having prior experience with Toshiba products, I knew this drive would be perfect for my needs. The drive has plenty of room, good speed and I was back up and running within a day.
Pros: Got this to replace my Toshiba 320gb hard drive since it went bad after 4 years and its been solid replacement. The ps3 slim had no trouble recognizing the hard drive. Make sure that you have the latest firmware update on a flash drive or external hard drive that's FAT32 since you will need it when the ps3 is formatting your new hard drive. You can get the latest firmware from www.playstation.com
