Summary: Used this to replace failed hard drive in my HP Laptop. Spent hours re-installing Windows 7 from backup DVDs. Worked great for about a week and then the drive failed. I must have gotten a lemon as most of the other reviews are glowing. Sent it back and got a solid state drive.
Failed after 1.5 years but is not covered by warranty

Summary: Came as part of a Toshiba Satellite Laptop and the HD S/N is not recognized at the Toshiba RMA website, although the laptop's is, which I take to mean that it only has the laptop's warranty (1 year). Will replace it but not with a Toshiba!
Summary: Probaby not going to use it. if I do, its going to be an external storage only.
Pros: Size for the price.
Cons: Died in a month. Had to rush to fix it for my customer. Ended up costing me money replacing it through toshiba acclaim. Got the replacement but I am hesitant to install it. So I bought a WD 1tb locally.
Summary: I installed the operating system on the drive an all seemed well, then after getting updates it said to "restart the computer" and when I did, the drive has never been recognized again. not in any laptop I try to put it in, the Bios will not recognize that there is a drive present.
Summary: This came in my Acer E1-572P-6857, the laptop is a cheap laptop only for really internet, work and Netflix. It works pretty well the processing power is all I need the only problem is the laptop will hang sometimes and in task manager the only thing being tasked is the Hard drive at 100 percent...
Summary: I purchased this drive in April 2014 as an upgrade for my late-2008 Macbook Pro. It is now November 2014 and the drive has already prematurely failed. Luckily I have all of my data backed up to a cloud service and external drive.
