Summary: i had no control over the drive in my laptop.... but man do i wish they used western digital (or just stopped with HDDS all together in laptops and went to only SSDs..... way more "here look at my screen "resistant")
Pros: will make a cool target...
Cons: died in just under 2 years in a laptop costs the same as a 500 gig SSD on sale....
Failed after 1.5 years but is not covered by warranty

Summary: Came as part of a Toshiba Satellite Laptop and the HD S/N is not recognized at the Toshiba RMA website, although the laptop's is, which I take to mean that it only has the laptop's warranty (1 year). Will replace it but not with a Toshiba!
Summary: Probaby not going to use it. if I do, its going to be an external storage only.
Pros: Size for the price.
Cons: Died in a month. Had to rush to fix it for my customer. Ended up costing me money replacing it through toshiba acclaim. Got the replacement but I am hesitant to install it. So I bought a WD 1tb locally.
Summary: Drive never worked. I formatted it a few times and then two different computers wouldn't recognize it for more than 30 seconds. I could hear it spin up and then click, click, click. Don't waste your money. I learned my lesson and I will never stray from WD again.
