Summary: No problems, bad sectors that I see so far or failures. Good performance and good price. That's about all you need for a hard drive.
Pros: Owned for nearly two years now. Bought two for my wife's gaming rig. They are still going strong without any problems... which is good since they're in a RAID array. Solid drives, definitely recommend.
Pros: This is a fairly quiet, tough drive. I've had it roughly a year and a half of substantially-higher-than-average (for a consumer) use, and it's still ticking along without much issue-- it's quite literally outlasted the backup external drive I got to go with it.
Cons: Not particularly fast, especially when writing. If you're doing video editing, processing large file archives, or whatever else might have actions in the multiple dozens of GBs, be prepared to twiddle your thumbs for a bit. This is to be expected for a 7200RPM platter drive, though.
Summary: Plugged right in to replace a 1-TB Seagate that was acting up. It's being used in a CCTV DVR, 2 TB means we can save more video. The price was excellent. I returned a 3TB for this one. The 3-TB Seagate didn't work at all. I think it was a refurb as the generic box gave it away.
Summary: My Samsung DVR was dying and I couldn't figure out why. I stopped getting emails from motion detection, I was having a hard time connecting to the cameras through the remote app and the system was super slow when I tried to log on.
Summary: This drive is advertised as "Ideal for set-top boxes (PVR, DVR and IPTV)". I used it for my DVR home security system with it set to record 24/7 on all 13 cameras and it already got pretty noisy and slow after 14 months and then died completely after 22 months total.
These drives have not disappointed. I've been abusing them for over a year ...

Summary: I bought 2 of these to run RAID 0 in my gaming rig. I wanted fast and reliable drives without the excessive per-GB cost of an SSD (still use SSD for system drive). Reliability is key since I have no redundancy with RAID 0. These drives have not disappointed.
