Summary: I have an HP Pavilion dv7-1451-nr laptop, as such it had an extra drive bay internally, this drive opened up a lot of space and transfer of files was fast. I test regularly for bad sectors and corrupt data and it has never had a problem with either. The only drawback I noticed is the heat level on both drives in the laptop increased exponentially, and heat of course is never good with electronics.
This is the best non-SSD notebook hard drive made.

Summary: I am a computer repair tech, and these are the only non-SSD drives I will use. I have seen a strangely high failure rate on replacement WD drives lately. Seagate seems to have taken the crown recently. Another tip, the smaller the drive, the less densely packed your data will be, and the lower your failure rate will be. I can't get anyone to confirm this fact, but in the past five years in my business, it seems to be true.
Summary: I bought this to use in my PS3, and so far it works as intended. I inserted it, formatted it following the prompts on screen, and it's worked great ever since. I can't say I notice any difference in the RPMs, as I don't have 2 PS3 side by side to compare load screens etc, but some things I've read say it does make a very minor difference.
Summary: No problems with installing, used USB/SATA cable to copy old drive onto new drive before swapping drive in the laptop. Recommend having discs for MS Office on hand (if applicable) because moving onto a new drive caused a hiccup there, but it did get solved.
