Summary: the hard drive works just fine easy to replace and at a good price. i would recommend this Seagate drive due to me working in IT knowing that brand does matter when it comes to some computer components.

Summary: I have a used Dell Latitude D620 laptop and 60GB drive and wanting to upgrade the drive for more space. The drive did come earlier than expected and glad that it did. I tested it so far and I hear the drive running I'm just waiting for the mainboard that I order to come in to fully used it. Otherwise It may have received a 5 star. Great Job!
Summary: This hard drive has been good to me, and I don't recall it ever giving me problems. I wish I had one of a larger size, since updates and all that crap usually seem to pile on versus replacing what has been updated (never understand that with some developers... REPLACE the updated software versus leaving it on the system to hog up space!!!).
Summary: The drive works just fine. I checked Seagate for warranty info for the specific drive and it says it is a component from a system. So this used drive is a system pull, and Seagate will not warranty if it fails. I guess Amazon will handle the warranty since it said it has one for 2-years. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I think you'd be better purchasing new.

Summary: I have owned this drive now for at least 6-7 months and not an issue. Works great with no issues at all. Also very quiet drive. Barely hear a sound. Installed it in my Macbook to replace the stock 80GB. No issues with Apples older SATa controller unlike some other SATA 3 drives I tried. Highly recommended!!
