Designed in a 1.028 x 4.0 x 5.787 inch form factor that weighs 1.371 lbs, the Seagate Barracuda Green features 5900 rpm spin speed, 144 Mb/s sustained data transfer rate, 4.16ms average latency, less than 12 ms random read seek time and less than 13.0 ms random write seek time. It also supports a 300 MB/s I/O data transfer rate, and about 1 in 1014 unrecoverable read errors.
