Pros: The drive does it's job and hasn't given me a single problem. when it filled up, I went and bought another model of the same exact model to expand to. I might even buy a third just to get my 3TB storage cap for windows.
Cons: none really. Not as fast as an SSD, but still reliable.
Summary: The drive installed without issue and has been running happily for a couple of months without issue. Of course that is always the way with hard drives. They work... until they don't. I am pretty happy with this though. My application was not speed critical so I have not done any tests. As a simple, large, external backup, it is doing fine.
Summary: This drive in a budget PC makes a great reliable system. Even with the 1yr warranty I recommend these drives over other brands. Customer service is awesome! Fast and cheap advanced RMA if there is ever a problem with the drive, but likely will never need it.
Pros: Great brand, high performance sata3, affordable drive to build a budget pc, Very reliable drives, lots of space for an internet browsing PC
Summary: Seagate is my favorite brand to use for economic builds. Honestly I have never had one fail on me yet and I've used probably about 100 on client builds or the years. What more you could ask for. Reliable at a good price.
