Summary: Nothing wrong with it, it just didn't fit my older CPU and had to be returned. Seagate makes good drives so if it is compatible with your hardware no reason to pass it up. I gave it a 3 since the description didn't cover the compatibility.
Summary: Worked ok for a while Now the drive fail after 3 months only, I should have exchanged it when I ran CrystalDiskInfo showing high number of reallocated sector and head access errors! Now I have to throw 12$ to RMA the drive!!!
Summary: These drives have a very high failure rate. I built a server for work using 45 of these in a single 4U server with plenty of cooling and i have already had 6 of them fail in the last year. If i didnt already have 45 of these, i would go with a different model drive!
Summary: (I have the 1.5TB ST31500341AS, firmware CC1H) I really loved this drive up until about 6PM last night. I use it to hold my media, and I've never had any issues with performance - I can wirelessly stream HD video from this HDD in my office PC to my home theater PC without any hiccups.
