SanDisk SSD G4

The SanDisk® SSD G4 is a solid state drive that serves as a drop-in replacement for hard disk drives (HDD) in notebooks; and features up to 256GB of storage. Available in various compact form factors, which can be customized according to manufacturers' specification, the SSD uses SanDisk's advanced 32-nanometer (nm) multi-level cell (MLC) process technology, for high-capacity storage with a tiny footprint.

Features

The SanDisk SSD G4 is a storage solution designed in a small form factor and is available in capacities of 64GB to 256GB with sequential read/write speeds of up to 220 and 160MB/seconds. It delivers the fast boot times, optimized system responsiveness and space needed to handle storage-intensive data such as videos, photos, music and games. The SanDisk SSD G4 also features Long-term Data Endurance (LDE) of 160 terabytes written (TBW) for a 256GB drive, which is sufficient for over 10 years of PC usage; page-based algorithm with ExtremeFFS, which increases random write speeds and efficiency; and is available in various form factors that include a new ultra-small variant of the mSATA module, mSATA mini, with dimensions of 26.80 x 30.00 x 3.4 mm. The SanDisk SSD G4 uses nCache™ acceleration technology, which is a non-volatile write cache technology that boosts burst random write performance to shorten boot times, reduces “stalling” and “hiccups,” and optimizes system responsiveness. It also features a burst random 4KB performance of up to 600 IOPS.
