SSD Extreme 240GB... Died...
EDUARD G., Newegg
28 July 2014
Summary: Only after 2 years? Last time I checked the drive had roughly about 2TB of data written on it. Very disappointed with SanDisk! Time to find a new maker!
Pros: Fast as any other SSDs out there...
Cons: Died after 2 years of service in a notebook... Sad! Always thought of SanDisk as a reliable brand... Right until the SSDs died.. Suddenly! With no sign of weakness... Last Saturday tried to boot my notebook... It almost made all the way to the login screen and then froze... Never happened before! And apparently never will... Upon reboot the notebook did not detect it. Went south and took with it a lot of info I acquired over the business trip. Cr@p!
I do not recommend buying anything from this trashy reseller
Amazon is extremely pathetic., Amazon

Summary: This drive lasted a bit more than 6 months. I've NEVER had a drive fail on me, and SSD's are supposed to be more reliable than typical hard drives. The company (dealfisher) has a 90-day return policy. I do not recommend buying anything from this trashy reseller.
If the drive continually needs to be reformatted, it's broken.

Pros: The drive is fast while it works.
Cons: The SSD failed about 6 months after I bought it. I have repeatedly needed to reinstall Windows 7. In the process of repairing my computer, updating the SSD's firmware ands stalling Sandisk's software, I have come to realize Sandisk's warranty center does not care if your hard drive fails repeatedly as long as it works at least temporarilly. Terrible customer service and this unreliable hard drive have cost me too much time. I do not plan to buy from Sandisk ever again...
Summary: when i buy a hard drive i dont want failure rate or return.. i want it to last..
Pros: was fast.. loved the speed
Cons: died not long into its life.. 6 months maybe... dont care if they will give me a new one .. not worth the trouble.. last time ill waste cash on this brand.. and to the mfg response auto spam .. im not wasting time talking to some guy in india about all the things it can be other than your product that should not have been sold with a failure rate.. so dont spam your phone number im not calling it.. if you care send me a drive.. yeaaa right..
Summary: I bought a Sandisk 120GB SSD just over 2 years ago. It died after 11-12 months of use. Sandisk tech support (after about a month delay) sent me a Sandisk 240GB Extreme SSD. Fresh install, good as new (I thought). Fast forward to now. After another 12 month period, the 240GB Extreme is dead. Will Sandisk send me a 480TB EXTREME XXVI SSD that dies in 12 months? Is it even worth my time? I'd prefer to just have my money back.
Pros: It's an SSD, it should be awesome. It was. A long, long time ago.
Cons: Died in about a year. A sandisk SSD that dies in a year, after my previous sandisk SSD died in a year... what terrible products.
Summary: I've had 2 of these fail in a year. First one after 4 months, sent it in for warranty, and the replacement drive failed 8 months later. I wasn't expecting a high performance drive from SanDisk, but I was expecting something a bit more reliable than this.
Summary: First time purchasing Sandisk only went for the 240GB due to the price drop on amazon last week @ $150 but i guess i should of went with my first choice. To late now... fingers crossed it last and I don't see any more bad sectors!?
