Summary: This is an excellent SSD, I replaced the HDD of my Toshiba 630 laptop. I'm using windows 7 and was board whenever I need to do a start up for the system or reboot. With this SSD the reboot is extremely fast and launching application as well.
Summary: I did a lot of research on an SSD for my wife's 13 inch Macbook Pro purchased at the end of 2009. I heard there were a few issues with many SSDs paired up with an older Macbook like the one I was going to upgrade. The biggest problem seemed to be with matching up the SATA versions, and i read on a couple of websites that this drive as well as the Intel 320 would be the best match. Both are SATA2 as well as the 2009 Macbook Pro.
Summary: Bought this to upgrade my I7 system in the one area it was lacking. Improved my WEI to 7.5 from 5.9. If you dont have a SSD, get one. Best boost to system performance you will see these days. Boots in :40 from power button to Windows fully loaded. Use with Win7 for best performance as most anyone will tell you.
Summary: The installation was straight forward. The drive gave new life to an old computer! I am very pleased with the quick response. I have been using the drive now for about three months. Lenovo T61 running Windows XP.
Summary: I bought this drive to upgrade my 4 year old laptop. With the bundled GHOST software, cloning my laptop's original HDD was a breeze. On booting up the laptop after installing this SSD I was floored by the speed of the boot-up. There was a very remarkable change from 72 seconds to 40 seconds in boot-up speed. When you open an application, it is almost instantaneous. There has been no crashes or hiccups from installation to present!
Summary: This is really really good SSD. I am using this on my desktop running it with a 1 tb HDD. Did have quiet some trouble configuring this SSD but I am giving this 5 star rating regardless because of the sheer performance after I got after it was properly configured. Ok the problem with configuring this SSD was that even though it showed up on my BIOS I could not access this in windows. Actually this was a simple fix: Right click on My Computer and click on manage.
Summary: I don't really have $2500 lying around for a new Macbook Pro so I installed the 256GB model in my late 2007 MBP 17". Simply amazing speed and utterly silent! Boot time is a bit faster but what really makes the difference (since most of us do not restart the computer frequently) is the application load time. Excel 2011 comes up in just a few seconds. This was kind of expensive but put new life into my 4-year-old computer.
